Job Summary:          The Coordinator, Partnerships and Sponsorships plays a critical role in Heritage’s mission advancing its seven policy priorities, developing effective partnerships, and serving the conservative movement. The coordinator supports the Campaigns and Partnerships team by planning and executing Heritage-led activities in the states and advancing departmental integration for all Heritage sponsorships (conferences, galas, etc.). As a Heritage and Outreach Department representative, the coordinator must exhibit a customer-first mentality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic.

Job Duties:

Drive integration across the Heritage enterprise portfolio in the states and efficiently execute related activities.

  • Assist the Associate Director and Partnerships Manager in executing activities in the states and Heritage’s presence at conferences and galas. Duties include:
    • Meeting external deadlines: landing page development, marketing emails and graphics, program agendas and timelines, collateral needs, program ad requests, promotion emails, and other benefits included within sponsorship packages, etc.
    • Researching, booking, and leading communication with external venues, catering, and AV for private events.
    • Ordering, tracking, shipping, and setting-up materials for conferences (and managing Outreach interns).
    • Confirming Heritage and external speakers.
    • Monitoring and submitting invoices.
    • Running on-site event execution.
    • Conducting all necessary follow-up and after-action reports.
  • Maintain and update “Conservative Movement Events Calendar” used throughout the Heritage enterprise.
  • Work alongside the Outreach Assistant (in the office of the Vice President) and internal Conferences team to coordinate meetings and briefings for external partners at Heritage.

Help to Grow, Build, and Serve the Conservative Movement.

  • Produce timely results and build strong relationships within Heritage and across the movement.
  • Maintain clean and accurate information/activity within Salesforce, Airtable, and Activity Overview documents (Microsoft Office).
  • Effectively represent The Heritage Foundation and the Outreach department to external partners and in public venues to advance our vision and mission. This includes travel and representing Heritage in the states and at events.


Skill Factors:

Education:        BA/BS preferred

Experience:     2-3 years administrative or project coordinating experience (particularly in a busy setting)

Technology:    Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, Teams; Experience in Salesforce, Airtable, and Marketo are encouraged.
