Job Summary:          The Program Coordinator provides program management, administrative, and clerical support for the Thatcher Center. The Coordinator will organize and manage internal and external conferences, roundtables and meetings, including invitations, logistics, and accounting details, as well as manage the Director’s schedule, meeting itineraries, travel arrangements and briefing materials. The Coordinator will assist the Director with preparing the Thatcher Center budget and administering the day-to-day execution of the budget. He or she will also provide administrative and clerical support to Thatcher Center staff including scheduling, booking travel arrangements, and preparing activity and expense reports. The Program Coordinator will additionally carry out other duties as assigned by the Thatcher Center Director including research assignments when needed.

Job Duties:

  • Organize and manage internal and external conferences, roundtables and meetings, including invitations, logistics, and accounting details. 
  • Manage Director’s schedule, meeting itineraries and briefing materials.
  • Assist the Director with preparing the Thatcher Center budget and administering the day-to-day execution of the budget.
  • Represent the Thatcher Center and Director in internal Heritage meetings and interactions when needed.
  • Provide support to Thatcher Center staff and assist in writing materials for Thatcher Center weekly newsletter, correspondence, internal reports and policy briefings.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to Thatcher Center staff, including scheduling, booking travel arrangements, preparing activity and expense reports, procuring office supplies, maintaining department files, databases, and contact lists, routing correspondence, handling all aspects of organizing in-house Heritage events and meetings, and carrying out special projects.
  • Assist in overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Thatcher Center interns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Thatcher Center Director including research projects.

Qualifications

Education: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Master’s Degree a plus.

Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Communication: Strong writing and verbal skills in English.

Technology: MS Office and Outlook
