Title: Statistician and Policy Modeler for Healthcare
Reports to: Director, Center for Data Analysis
Job Summary: The Heritage Foundation's mission is "to formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense." Based on those principles, the main objectives of the Center for Data Analysis are to provide empirical research services to Heritage and to help build, through empirical and other research, publication, and other activities, the intellectual foundation for Heritage conservative public policies. Consistent with the mission and those objectives, the Modeler engages with the healthcare policy team in modeling, database construction, research, publication, and other work concerning healthcare policies.
Education: Minimum of Masters or equivalent graduate degree in Statistics, Math, or Economics preferred.
Experience: 3 to 5 years in statistical analysis and healthcare.
Communication: Excellent preparation and interpretation of technical documents accompanying policy and database models.
